The AI Confidence Workshop for Teams
The AI Confidence Workshop: AI Training That Changes How Your Team Thinks
The AI Confidence workshop is a one-day, hands-on programme for corporate teams. Your people learn the 4D Framework, a way of thinking through AI use that outlasts any tool, and apply it to their own real work. Everyone leaves with a working AI assistant. Delivered on-site across Malaysia and in Singapore, and HRD Corp claimable in Malaysia.

Why Tool Training Fails
Tools Change Every Quarter. Thinking Doesn't.
Most corporate AI training teaches a tool. Your team watches a demo, tries a few prompts and goes back to work. Within a quarter the interface has changed and usage has shrunk to the two or three people who were already curious.
The AI Confidence workshop takes the opposite approach. Your team learns how to reason about delegating work to AI, briefing it, judging what comes back and following through. That thinking transfers to whatever tool your organisation adopts next. AI is not a tool problem, it's a thinking problem.
What Your Team Leaves With
- A working AI assistant each person built during the day, on their own real tasks and documents
- A shared language for using AI well, so adoption does not depend on a few early adopters
- Practice on real work: real emails, real reports, real decisions
- The judgement to keep going once the trainer has left the room
The Method
The 4D Framework: How Your Team Learns to Think With AI
The 4D Framework is a structured way of thinking through any piece of AI-assisted work, not a list of prompts to memorise. Your team applies it to their own tasks from the first hour.
The Four Ds, in the Order Your Team Uses Them
Delegation
Your team learns to decide what to hand to AI and what to keep. Participants map their own workload and find where AI removes drudgery and where human judgement must stay in charge.
Description
Good output starts with good context. Participants practise briefing AI the way they would brief a capable new colleague: the goal, the audience, the constraints and the examples that matter.
Discernment
AI sounds confident even when it is wrong. Your team learns to evaluate what comes back, spot gaps and invented facts, and decide what needs checking before it is used.
Diligence
Follow-through turns a good result into a working habit. Participants learn to refine, save and reuse what works, and to own anything sent out under their own name.
What a Day Looks Like
Morning Builds the Thinking. Afternoon Builds the Assistant.
Morning: Foundations and the 4D Framework
The day starts at 9:00 AM with where AI genuinely helps in your kind of work and where it does not. Your team then works through the 4D Framework on their own tasks, so the ideas land on something familiar.
Afternoon: Build Your Own AI Assistant
After lunch, each participant sets up a working AI assistant on a real piece of their job: a recurring report, a customer reply, a planning document. They test it, correct it and improve it with guidance in the room, and leave at 5:00 PM with something they can use the next morning.
Formats
One Day or Two Days
One-Day Workshop
Seven training hours, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a one-hour lunch. Foundations, the 4D Framework and the hands-on build in a single day. The right choice for most teams starting out.
Two-Day Programme
Day 1 covers Foundations. Day 2, Scaling Your AI, adds more hands-on labs, so your team applies the framework to more workflows and builds more than one assistant.
Who It's For
Built for Teams Doing Real Work
HR and L&D Leaders
You are setting the standard for how your organisation adopts AI, not running a one-off session. You want a programme that lands with a mixed room and leaves behind something people keep using.
Operations and Functional Leaders
You need your team using AI in daily work, not merely aware of it. You want the gains to show up the following week.
Mixed-Experience Teams
No prior AI experience is needed. The format works whether the room is all frontline staff, all managers, or a genuine mix.
HRD Corp Claimability
What It Means for Your Budget
Sylvia is an HRD Corp Accredited Trainer, so Malaysian employers with an active HRD Corp levy account can claim this workshop against that levy. The cost is offset by funds your company has already contributed.
HRD Corp claims are processed through a registered training provider, not directly by an individual trainer. That is how the scheme works for every accredited trainer in Malaysia. Sylvia has a network of training provider partners and liaises with them on your behalf, so the provider side is never something your HR team has to manage alone. The full process is on the HRDC-claimable AI training page.
How the Claim Works, From Your Side
Before the Workshop
Sylvia connects you with the right training provider partner, and your HR team submits a training grant application to HRD Corp through them. The grant must be approved before training starts. Allow about 30 days for application and approval.
On the Day
Participants sign a daily attendance record. That is the only thing required of them.
After the Workshop
Sylvia and the training provider partner handle the completion declaration, the invoice and the claim submission between them. Your HR team is not left chasing paperwork.
Worth knowing, plainly: exact eligibility depends on your organisation's HRD Corp levy account, so this describes how the scheme generally works, not a guarantee for your case. HRD Corp applies in Malaysia only; Singapore delivery is available without it.
