AI Training for HR Teams in Malaysia: Practical, HRD Corp Claimable, Built on Your Real Work
You bring your competency framework, your handbook and your L&D plan. Your HR team spends one day learning the 4D Framework on that real work, and each person leaves with a working AI assistant. It is the same AI Confidence workshop other teams get, built on HR's documents and HR's questions, and claimable against your HRD Corp levy.

What The Programme Is
Same Workshop. Built on HR's Real Work.
This is not a separate HR course with its own curriculum. It is the one-day AI Confidence workshop, the same 4D Framework day every team gets, with the examples, exercises and questions drawn from HR's work. Delegation, Description, Discernment, Diligence: a structured way of thinking through AI use, not a list of prompts to memorise. Tools will change. Thinking won't.
What changes is the material in the room. Your team works on your own job descriptions, policies, programme outlines and communications. By 5:00 PM every participant has a working AI assistant, set up on their real HR tasks.
What Your HR Team Leaves With
- A working AI assistant per participant, set up on their own HR tasks, not a demo
- One shared way of working with AI, so adoption does not depend on two enthusiasts
- Clear boundaries for employee data, so confidence comes with judgement
- The standing to lead AI adoption in other departments, because HR has done it first
What Your HR Team Will Use AI For
Built on the Work HR Actually Does
The 4D Framework is taught on tasks your team already owns. These are the use cases HR teams most often bring into the room; the exercises run on your documents, not on samples.
Five Use Cases Your Team Builds On
Job Descriptions and Interview Guides
Draft role descriptions and structured interview guides from your own competency framework, so every posting and panel starts from the same standard. AI produces the first draft; your team checks it for fairness and keeps the final call.
Policy and Handbook Updates in Plain Language
Turn a legal-heavy policy change into a version employees can read, without losing the substance. Participants learn to give AI the right context and to check the result against the source document.
L&D Needs Analysis and Programme Design
Synthesise survey results, appraisal themes and manager requests into a needs analysis, then draft a programme outline from it. The design work still belongs to your L&D team. The blank page does not.
Employee Communications and Change Messaging
Draft announcements, FAQs and manager talking points for a restructure, a new benefit or a system change, in your organisation's tone. Then judge whether the draft says what you mean.
First-Draft HR Analytics Narratives
Turn attrition, headcount or engagement figures into a readable narrative for leadership. AI writes the first pass of the story; your team verifies every number and decides what the data means.
HRD Corp claim, plainly: Sylvia is an HRD Corp Accredited Trainer, so this workshop can be claimed against your company's HRD Corp levy. Claims run through a registered training provider, as they do for every accredited trainer, and she liaises with her provider partners on your behalf. Allow about 30 days for the grant to be approved before training starts. Exact eligibility depends on your levy account. The full claim process is on the HRD Corp claimable AI training page.
Judgement and Boundaries
AI Drafts. Humans Decide.
HR holds the most sensitive data in the organisation, so the workshop spends real time on where AI belongs and where it does not. Discernment and Diligence, the second half of the 4D Framework, are about exactly this.
- Personal data stays out of the tool. Participants work with anonymised or non-sensitive documents and learn how to strip identifying details before they prompt.
- PDPA awareness is built into the day: what counts as personal data under Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act, and why your company policy on AI tools matters.
- Screening bias is named directly. AI can reproduce patterns from past hiring decisions, so shortlisting and assessment decisions stay with people.
- Every output is checked against the source document. Verification is taught as a repeatable step, not left as a warning on a slide.
Who It's For
Built for HR Teams Doing Real Work
HR Leaders and HR Business Partners
You set the standard for how the organisation works with AI. Doing it first in HR gives you a credible position from which to guide every other department.
Recruiters and Talent Teams
You draft more than anyone else in the building. A structured way to delegate first drafts, while keeping screening decisions human, changes the shape of the week.
L&D and HR Operations
You design programmes, update policies and answer the same questions repeatedly. The workshop gives you a repeatable method rather than a bag of tricks.
